When i collect her i drove her 145 miles back the yard, whilst not as comfortable as a 110 a good starter Land Rover it was a trip down memory lane. | Hi folks, I'm returning from the UK with 2 1983 110's in February. One of them has a snorkel, heavy duty springs, steering gaurd, and a 200tdi from a low milage Disco that was put in with a few odd modifications by the previous owner--I'm currently correcting any oddities so it's just right. It still has the disco LT77 tranny, but I think the gearing is fine and it cruises easily at 70mph. It also has a lot of checker plating, not my style, actually, but it looks tough. It has the original chass... etc., etc.

| We have 3 used Rover V8 engines for sale: 2 with 4.2 liter displacement and 1 has 3.9 liter displacement. One is a 4.2 liter V8 that ran great with no problems (91,322) miles with wiring harness, air flow meter, and ECU. The second 4.2 liter runs fine, but will overheat with just over 100,000 miles with wiring harness and air flow meter (the ECU is in my workshop and that will be included if we can locate it). The third is a 3.9 liter with 83,420 miles and has been stored outside under a tarp. The 4.2 engines turn over fine, but the 3.9 liter is stuck and probably has surface rust inside the engine, but condition unknown other than ran when parked. All the engines have the power steering pumps, but only one of the 4.2 liter engines has the starter, alternator, and distributor. There are loads of parts here with 1 complete good running engine with 2 spare engines. The second 4.2 liter would probably be fine if the heads were reconditioned. We have several used radiators as well if you want them. |

I was going to fit them in my D90 (i actually have the rear seats installed) but i'm not sure if i can get the front seats to work. | I have 1997 4.6 GEMS that I bought used to put in my NAS D90 with 42,XXX miles on it. Well I sold my Defender so I don't need motor anymore. Motor was complete with all the wires just clipped and just pulled out. The oil pan was dented in shipping, and the front cover has been removed for inspection. So as it sits, it does not have an alternator, ecu or starter, but just about everything else is on it including all the little wires with pig tail attached. $2000 Roof bars that mount on to the roll cage, these are the square type that mount to roll cage, all hardware good shape $200., Set (two) of factory 3rd members 24 spline differential 4 bolt flange stock 3.54 gears under 50k miles $250 for the pair. | Engine, transmission, and transfer case, are strong. It is a RUST bucket it came from Chicago. The exhaust blew out going through a river ya can put your fist in the muffler. I would say no good body parts. The last straw for the old Rangie was the ABS pump went out. Momma says “GET RID OF IT” we aint puttin another dime into that thing :-( Here is a list of what may still be good.) CV joints were new about 15k miles ago, ARB Springs 2” lift. Bilsten shocks, Wheels are 16”X7” American Racing, BF Goodrich All-Terrain 245/75/16, I have Original Tri-spoke alloys with OEM Michelins, Hella 1000’s and Cerwin Vega speakers. | I am selling a NIB set of Mantec window guards for the Disco II. These are extremely rare - got these from a friend who ordered them from England for a hefty price. Just like with some of the defenders, these guards reside on the inside of the glass and rivet to frame or trim. | 1995 LWB, 153K Green/tan. Im selling this for friends that just moved out of country, so I know few details about it. Coil conversion, very clean interior, near perfect liftgate. A few dents here and there, tailgate has rust. SRS, TC and ABS lights are on. Newer tires. Runs beautifully, though I've done all of 1 mile in it. It's inspection has expired so I've not wanted to risk driving it too far. I don't have records, though they've done the usual oil changes. It was completely checked over by Roverland in Alexandria when the owners bought it 3 or so years ago and got a clean bill of health. Drivers foot well needs to be patched, passengers side is solid, sills are clean and rear seat belt anchors are clean, liftgate is Very clean, tailgate needs either a good amount of patching or easier would be to just replace it. Rear floor is fine, fan works on speed 4, glass is fine though rear windows appear to be temperamental, headliner is average. This looks like it's going to be a great deal for someone. | 1965 Land Rover 88” Series IIA fully restored. This truck was a complete frame up restoration that took over 3 years to complete. Every aspect of the truck was rebuilt or replaced. The only items that are currently not complete are the hard top (Safari type), rear seats, and front door tops. The brakes were converted to the power brakes from a Series III. Engine was completely rebuilt and a new Weber carburetor was installed. This truck was previously placed for sale but couldn’t get myself ... etc., etc.
